Dr. Krauss' family is originally from Long Island, NY, and he moved at a young age to Memphis, TN. Dr. Krauss has been a resident of South Florida for more than 15 years. Growing up with family members in the medical field, he considered different healthcare professions but ultimately found that Dentistry was the best fit because of its appealing combination of art and science.

Once you’re approved for treatment, we will take scans or impressions of your teeth to ensure your Invisalign trays fit perfectly. When your aligners arrive at our office, you’ll come and pick them up to begin your treatment.

Dr. Blalock grew up on a beef cattle farm in Crossville, TN. The time he spent working on the farm taught Dr. Blalock valuable problem-solving skills and a good work ethic. After Dr. Blalock suffered a dental injury when a cow’s hoof contacted his teeth, his dentist repaired his smile and sparked a fascination for the art of dentistry. Because of that experience, Dr. Blalock realized his calling was to become a dentist. He loves that dental work gives him the ability to work creatively with his hands while interacting with patients and making a positive impact on their lives.
Dr. Blalock graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tennessee Tech University with an undergraduate degree in health science biology. He went on to graduate with honors from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry

How are Invisalign trays made?
These clear aligners are designed using a mold of your teeth. A lab technician will apply layers of a photo-sensitive liquid resin to this custom mold. Next, the technician will expose this resin to a laser, curing it into a hard, yet flexible, thermoplastic. This plastic is called SmartTrack®, and it was created exclusively for Invisalign treatment. It’s FDA-approved and contains no BPA, BPS, latex, or gluten.

What if I crack my aligners?
If you notice that your aligners become damaged, cracked, worn, or if you lose your aligners, contact your doctor right away. If you delay this will only prolong your treatment and could reverse the progress you have made. In the event that you lose your aligners or if they become damaged, let us know and we will help you get back on track.
How do I care for my aligners?
Caring for your Invisalign trays is quite simple. All you need to do is brush them with a toothbrush and toothpaste when you brush your teeth. If you are in a situation that prevents you from cleaning them, you can rinse them with lukewarm water. It is important to avoid rinsing them with hot water as this could warp the trays.
Does Invisalign hurt?
While Invisalign is usually more comfortable than traditional braces, there is still some discomfort associated with all orthodontic treatments. Since we will be shifting your teeth, you may notice mild tenderness as you get used to each new set of trays. Invisalign works by applying gentle pressure to your teeth which in turn creates inflammation that signals your tooth roots to shift.
How do I wear my aligners?
In order for your teeth to move to where you want them to move as effectively and efficiently as possible you must wear them 22 to 24 hours a day. The aligners are taken out when you clean your teeth and when you clean your aligners.
